  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup holiday sprinkles

Instructions
 

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • 2. Whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cornstarch.
  • 3. Cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • 4. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
  • 5. Gradually combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients.
  • 6. Fold in sprinkles gently.
  • 7. Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets.
  • 8. Top with extra sprinkles if desired.
  • 9. Bake for 8–10 minutes until edges are set.
  • 10. Cool before serving.

Notes

Use room temperature butter for best texture.
Do not overbake; centers should remain soft.
Use jimmies sprinkles to avoid color bleeding.
