  • 6 cups iceberg lettuce chopped
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce chopped
  • 2 medium tomatoes sliced
  • 1/2 medium red onion thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup black olives
  • 6 pepperoncini peppers
  • 1 cup garlic croutons
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • 3/4 cup creamy Italian dressing
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

  • 1. Wash the iceberg and romaine lettuce thoroughly under cold water and dry completely using a salad spinner or kitchen towels.
  • 2. Chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place it into a large salad bowl.
  • 3. Slice the tomatoes and thinly slice the red onion.
  • 4. Drain the black olives and pepperoncini peppers well.
  • 5. Add the tomatoes, red onions, black olives, and pepperoncini peppers over the lettuce.
  • 6. Sprinkle the croutons and freshly grated Parmesan cheese evenly across the salad.
  • 7. Add Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper over the top.
  • 8. Pour the creamy Italian dressing evenly over the salad.
  • 9. Toss the salad gently until all ingredients are lightly coated with dressing.
  • 10. Refrigerate the salad for 10 minutes before serving for the best texture and flavor.
  • 11. Garnish with extra Parmesan cheese and additional croutons if desired, then serve immediately.
