- 14 oz extra-firm tofu
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup
1. Press tofu for 20–30 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut into 1-inch cubes.
2. Mix olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, oregano, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
3. Add tofu cubes and toss gently to coat.
4. Marinate for at least 20 minutes or up to 2 hours.
5. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet.
6. Arrange tofu in a single layer.
7. Bake for 20 minutes, flip, then bake another 10–15 minutes.
8. Remove, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.
Press tofu well for best results.
Do not overcrowd the pan.
Broil briefly for extra crispiness.
