- 1 pound green beans
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1. Wash and thoroughly dry the green beans, then trim the ends.
2. Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with whisked eggs and milk, and one with breadcrumbs, Parmesan, and seasonings.
3. Coat green beans in flour, dip in egg mixture, then press into breadcrumb mixture.
4. Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
5. Fry green beans in small batches for 2–3 minutes until golden and crispy.
6. Remove and drain on a wire rack or paper towels.
7. Season immediately with a pinch of salt.
