Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef 85/15
  • 6 ounces boxed stuffing mix dry
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup ketchup plus extra for glaze
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 small onion finely chopped or grated
  • Fresh parsley for garnish optional

Instructions
 

  • 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a loaf pan.
  • 2. In a large bowl, combine the stuffing mix and milk. Let sit for 5 minutes to soften.
  • 3. Add ground beef, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, onion, garlic powder, and 2 tablespoons of ketchup to the bowl.
  • 4. Mix gently by hand or with a spoon until just combined.
  • 5. Shape into a loaf and transfer to a prepared loaf pan or baking sheet.
  • 6. Stir together remaining ketchup with a bit of brown sugar if desired, and spread over the top of the loaf.
  • 7. Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  • 8. Remove from oven and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  • 9. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.

Let the stuffing mix fully absorb the milk before combining to ensure a tender texture.
