1 1/2 cups light brown sugar packed

1/2 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs room temperature

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 cups all purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup Easter M&M candies plus extra for topping

1/2 cup white chocolate chips optional

1/2 cup chopped nuts optional


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 or 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.

2. Whisk melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.

3. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.

4. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.

5. Fold dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined.

6. Fold in M&Ms and optional add-ins.

7. Spread batter into pan and top with extra M&Ms.
