1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1–2 tablespoons milk or cream
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
pinch salt
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 175°C and grease pan
2. Mix dry ingredients together
3. Whisk wet ingredients separately
4. Combine wet and dry ingredients
5. Add hot liquid and mix
6. Pour batter into pan
7. Bake 20–25 minutes
8. Cool completely
9. Prepare frosting
10. Spread frosting evenly
11. Decorate and serve
