Description

Jumbo Shrimp in Butter Garlic Sauce is a fast and luxurious seafood dish, combining tender shrimp with a rich, garlicky butter sauce and bright lemon accents. It’s perfect for weeknight dinners or elegant entertaining.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb jumbo shrimp (peeled and deveined, tail-on optional)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon (about 1 tablespoon)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Pat shrimp dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat.
  3. Add garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds, until fragrant but not browned.
  4. Add shrimp in a single layer. Cook for 2 minutes, then flip and cook another 2–3 minutes until pink and opaque.
  5. Add lemon juice and red pepper flakes. Stir to coat shrimp in the sauce.
  6. Add remaining tablespoon of butter and stir until melted and glossy.
  7. Remove from heat, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
