Ingredients

Scale

8 ounces cream cheese softened

1 cup sour cream

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded

1 cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated

1/2 cup Monterey Jack cheese shredded

10 ounces frozen chopped spinach thawed and drained

14 ounces artichoke hearts drained and chopped

3 cloves garlic minced

1 small onion finely diced

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes optional

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a medium baking dish or cast-iron skillet.

2. Thaw the frozen spinach completely and squeeze out as much excess moisture as possible using paper towels or a clean kitchen towel.

3. Drain the artichoke hearts thoroughly and chop them into bite-sized pieces.

4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth and creamy.

5. Add the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes. Mix well.

6. Fold in the spinach, chopped artichokes, diced onion, and minced garlic until evenly combined.

7. Stir in the mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and Monterey Jack cheese, reserving a small amount of cheese for the topping.

8. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.

9. Sprinkle the reserved cheese over the top of the dip.

10. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly with a golden top.

11. Broil for 2 to 3 minutes if desired for extra browning, watching carefully to avoid burning.

12. Let the dip rest for 5 minutes before serving.

13. Serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, toasted baguette slices, pita chips, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

Always squeeze excess moisture from the spinach to prevent a watery dip and maintain a thick creamy texture.

Freshly grated cheese melts more smoothly than pre-shredded cheese and creates the best flavor and consistency.

For an extra golden bubbly top, broil the dip for the final 2 to 3 minutes while watching closely.
