Ingredients

1 1/2 cups granulated sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup heavy cream

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups pecans

1/4 teaspoon salt


Instructions

1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside

2. Toast the pecans in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3–5 minutes until fragrant

3. Combine granulated sugar, brown sugar, heavy cream, and butter in a saucepan

4. Cook over medium heat until smooth and boiling

5. Continue cooking until 235–240°F is reached

6. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and salt

7. Add pecans and stir until thickened

8. Drop spoonfuls onto baking sheet

9. Let cool completely

10. Serve and enjoy
