Ingredients

Scale

1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp smoked paprika

1 tsp onion powder

Salt and black pepper to taste

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp butter

12 oz bowtie pasta

Salt for boiling water

2 tbsp butter

4 cloves garlic minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup Velveeta cheese cubed (about 6 oz)

¼ tsp black pepper

½ tsp Italian seasoning

¼ cup grated parmesan cheese (optional)

Fresh chopped parsley for garnish

Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

½ cup reserved pasta water (as needed)

Instructions

1. Cut chicken into 1–1.5 inch chunks. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.

2. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet. Sear chicken for 5–6 minutes until golden and fully cooked. Set aside.

3. Boil a large pot of salted water. Cook bowtie pasta until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water and drain.

4. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté garlic for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.

5. Add heavy cream, then reduce heat to low. Stir in Velveeta and mozzarella until melted and smooth.

6. Season the sauce with pepper and Italian seasoning. Add a splash of pasta water if needed for consistency.

7. Add pasta to the sauce and gently toss to coat. Fold in cooked chicken. Let it warm together for 1–2 minutes.

8. Serve warm. Garnish with parsley, grated parmesan, and optional red pepper flakes.

Notes

For the smoothest sauce, keep the heat low while melting the cheeses.

Always reserve some pasta water—it’s perfect for thinning or binding the sauce.

Use fresh garlic and freshly grated cheese for the best flavor and texture.
