Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon garlic powder
6 ounces cheddar cheese, cut into cubes
1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 pieces)
3 tablespoons butter, melted
2 cloves garlic, minced
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Let it cool slightly.
2. Cut cheddar cheese into ¾-inch cubes and set aside.
3. Flatten each piece of biscuit dough with your fingers or a rolling pin until wide enough to fill.
4. Scoop about 1 tablespoon of cooked beef into the center of each dough circle and press a cheese cube into the center of the meat.
5. Fold and pinch the dough around the filling to seal it completely.
6. Place seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
7. Mix melted butter and minced garlic. Brush the tops of each dough ball with the garlic butter.
8. Sprinkle grated Parmesan over the tops.
9. Bake in a preheated 375°F (190°C) oven for 15–18 minutes, until golden and puffed.
10. Remove from oven and brush with additional garlic butter. Garnish with parsley if desired. Serve warm.
Notes
Let the cooked beef cool before stuffing to avoid melting the dough prematurely.
Use block cheese cut into cubes for better melt and texture—pre-shredded cheese won’t give the same gooey center.
Don’t forget to seal the edges of the dough well to keep all that cheesy goodness inside while baking.
