1 1/2 cups granulated sugar

1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice

1 tablespoon orange zest

1 package freezer jam pectin (about 1.75 oz)

3/4 cup water

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)

1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg (optional)


Instructions

1. Rinse the cranberries thoroughly, remove stems, and pulse until finely chopped with slight texture

2. Combine cranberries with orange juice and orange zest in a large bowl

3. Add sugar, stir well, and let sit for 10–15 minutes

4. Boil water and pectin for 1 minute while stirring constantly

5. Mix hot pectin into fruit mixture and stir for 2–3 minutes

6. Add optional spices and mix היט

7. Pour into jars leaving 1/2 inch space

8. Let sit at room temperature for 24 hours to set

9. Store in freezer or refrigerator
