Ingredients

Scale

200g ground beef

2 slices thick-cut bread

2 slices cheddar cheese

2 slices mozzarella cheese

1 tablespoon butter

2 tablespoons diced onion (optional)

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt to taste

Black pepper to taste

1 teaspoon chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully done. Add onions if using, and cook until softened. Drain any excess grease.

2. Season the cooked beef with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and set aside.

3. Butter one side of each bread slice evenly all the way to the edges.

4. On the unbuttered side of one slice, place a slice of cheddar cheese.

5. Add a generous spoonful of the seasoned beef mixture on top of the cheese.

6. Add a slice of mozzarella cheese over the beef.

7. Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side facing out.

8. Heat a clean skillet or griddle over medium heat.

9. Place the sandwich on the skillet and cook for 3–4 minutes on one side or until golden.

10. Flip carefully and cook the other side until cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.

11. Let rest for a minute, slice, and garnish with parsley if desired.

12. Serve hot with your favorite sides.

Notes

Use freshly grated cheese for the best melting texture and flavor.

Don't rush the toasting—medium heat ensures crispy bread and melted cheese.

Let the sandwich rest for a minute before slicing to help it hold together better.
