1/3 cup frozen peas
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 sheets puff pastry, thawed

2. Add chopped onions and garlic; cook until soft and fragrant.
3. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and beef broth.
4. Sprinkle flour into the pan and stir well to thicken the filling.
5. Add peas, then season with salt and pepper. Let the filling cool completely.
6. Roll out puff pastry and cut into circles.
7. Place filling on one pastry round, cover with another, and seal edges.
8. Cut a slit in the top of each pie to release steam.
9. Brush with beaten egg for a glossy finish.
10. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
11. Let pies cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Always cool the filling before assembling to prevent soggy pastry.
For extra flakiness, chill the assembled pies before baking.
You can freeze the pies raw or cooked for convenient future meals.
