  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (divided)
  • 1 red bell pepper, julienned
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, julienned
  • 1 zucchini, halved and sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (optional garnish)

For the Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  2. In another bowl, whisk together all sauce ingredients. Set aside.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large wok or skillet over high heat. Sear the beef in batches for 1–2 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  4. Add remaining oil to the pan. Stir fry bell peppers and zucchini for 3–4 minutes. Add garlic and ginger; cook for 30 seconds.
