  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 burger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, pickles (optional)
  • Condiments of choice (ketchup, mustard, mayo, etc.)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Do not overmix.
  2. Divide into 4 equal portions and shape into patties, making a slight indentation in the center.
  3. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Place patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches at least 160°F (71°C).
  5. Add a slice of cheese in the last minute of cooking and let it melt.
  6. Toast the buns if desired, then assemble the burgers with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and condiments.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
