- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
- 1 packet (1 oz) dry ranch dressing mix
- 1 packet (1 oz) au jus gravy mix
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, sliced
- 6–8 pepperoncini peppers
- Optional: 2 tbsp pepperoncini juice
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts or thighs into the bottom of a slow cooker.
- Sprinkle the dry ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix over the top.
- Add slices of butter evenly across the chicken.
- Place pepperoncini peppers on top and optionally pour in the juice.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.
- Shred the chicken with two forks and mix with the sauce.
- Serve hot over mashed potatoes, rice, noodles, or inside sandwich rolls.
