- 2 cups fresh strawberries, halved
- 1 can (21 oz) strawberry pie filling
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- Powdered sugar (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly in the dish.
- Add halved fresh strawberries over the pie filling.
- Mix softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth; dollop and gently spread over berries.
- Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over the top.
- Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix, covering as much as possible.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
- Cool for at least 15 minutes. Serve warm or chilled, optionally topped with powdered sugar.
