Description

This Stovetop Creamy Ground Beef Pasta is a quick and easy one-pan meal that’s rich, comforting, and packed with flavor. Tender pasta is simmered in a creamy, cheesy sauce with seasoned ground beef, making it a perfect weeknight dinner the whole family will love!

Ingredients

Scale

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 12 oz pasta (rotini, fusilli, or penne)
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brown the Beef – Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks (about 5-7 minutes). Drain excess grease and set aside.
  2. Sauté Aromatics – In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté the diced onion until soft (about 3 minutes). Add minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  3. Add Tomato Paste & Seasonings – Stir in tomato paste, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, mixing well.
  4. Cook the Pasta – Pour in beef broth and bring to a simmer. Add uncooked pasta, stirring occasionally. Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes, or until pasta is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.
  5. Make the Creamy Sauce – Reduce heat to low. Stir in heavy cream, cheddar cheese, and Parmesan until smooth and creamy.
  6. Combine & Serve – Add the cooked ground beef back to the skillet, mixing everything together. Adjust seasoning if needed. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
