Description
Sticky Honey Garlic Sausage Pasta is a bold, sweet-savory dish that combines seared smoked sausage with a garlicky honey-soy glaze, all tossed with perfectly cooked spaghetti. It’s quick, incredibly flavorful, and ideal for a weeknight dinner or make-ahead lunch.
Ingredients
12 oz smoked sausage, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
8 oz spaghetti
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 tbsp honey
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp olive oil
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
1. Slice the sausage into 1/2-inch rounds and sear in olive oil over medium-high heat until golden and crisp on both sides. Remove from the skillet.
2. Cook spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water and drain.
3. In the same skillet, add a little more olive oil and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
4. Stir in the honey and soy sauce. Let it bubble and thicken slightly.
5. Return the sausage to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
6. Add cooked pasta and toss everything together. Use reserved pasta water as needed to loosen the sauce.
7. Stir in chopped parsley and top with grated Parmesan.
8. Serve immediately while hot and glossy.
Notes
This recipe is very adaptable. Try different sausages or add vegetables like bell peppers or spinach. Great for leftovers or quick lunches.
