  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar or honey
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar or lime juice
  • 1/2 cup water (or noodle cooking water)
  • 1/2 cup scallions or green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded spinach or cabbage (optional)

Grilled Beef:

  • 1/2 lb flank steak or ribeye, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Creamy Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp sriracha or hot sauce
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp lime juice
  • Pinch of sugar

Garnish:

  • Black sesame seeds
  • Fresh herbs (cilantro or green onion)
  • Chili flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Beef:
Mix sliced beef with soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and black pepper. Let sit for 15–30 minutes.
  2. Prepare Creamy Sauce:
Whisk together mayonnaise, sriracha, soy sauce, lime juice, and sugar. Set aside.

  3. Cook the Ramen:
Boil noodles until just tender. Drain and reserve ½ cup cooking water.

  4. Make Spicy Sauce:
In a saucepan, stir together gochujang, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, brown sugar, vinegar, and water. Simmer for 1–2 minutes. Add noodles and toss to coat.

  5. Grill the Beef:
Heat a grill pan or skillet over high heat. Sear beef slices 2–3 mins per side. Let rest, then slice.

  6. Assemble the Bowl:
Divide noodles into bowls. Top with beef, a spoonful of creamy sauce, and desired garnishes.

  7. Serve:
Mix as you eat for the perfect balance of spicy, savory, and creamy in every bite.
