Perfect if you're looking for a quick dinner, creamy comfort food, or spicy pasta that delivers big flavor.

Ingredients

Scale

2 cups cheese tortellini (fresh or refrigerated)

2 boneless skinless chicken breasts

3 cloves garlic minced

1 teaspoon red chili flakes

2 tablespoons butter

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 cup heavy cream

¾ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and a pinch of chili flakes.

2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter.

3. Sear the chicken for 6–7 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove and rest.

4. In a pot, boil salted water and cook tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water.

5. In the same skillet, add remaining butter. Add garlic and chili flakes, sauté until fragrant.

6. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine. Simmer for 3–4 minutes.

7. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese and simmer until sauce thickens.

8. Slice or cube the cooked chicken and return it to the skillet.

9. Add cooked tortellini and gently toss to coat everything in the sauce.

10. Add a splash of pasta water if the sauce is too thick.

11. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.

12. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Let the chicken rest after cooking to keep it juicy before slicing.

Use freshly grated Parmesan for a smoother sauce texture.

Adjust chili flakes to control the spice level based on your preference.
