Ingredients

Scale

2 boneless skinless chicken thighs

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon sriracha or chili paste

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

0.5 teaspoon ground cumin

salt and black pepper to taste

1 tablespoon butter

5 cloves garlic minced

1 tablespoon flour

1.5 cups chicken broth

0.5 cup heavy cream

1 tablespoon soy sauce

salt to taste

2 packs ramen noodles

2 green onions finely chopped

chili oil or chili crisp for topping

sesame seeds optional

garlic mayo or white garlic sauce optional for garnish

Instructions

1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sriracha, sesame oil, paprika, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Add chicken and marinate for at least 30 minutes.

2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until charred and cooked through. Let it rest for 5 minutes, then slice.

3. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.

4. Slowly whisk in chicken broth. Bring to a simmer, reduce heat, and stir in heavy cream and soy sauce. Let simmer for 3–5 minutes until creamy. Add salt to taste.

5. In a separate pot, cook ramen noodles according to package instructions, 1–2 minutes less than directed. Drain and set aside.

6. Divide noodles into bowls. Pour over creamy garlic sauce. Top with sliced spicy chicken.

7. Garnish with green onions, chili oil, sesame seeds, and garlic mayo if using.

8. Serve immediately and enjoy the layers of spice and comfort.

Notes

Marinate your chicken longer (overnight if possible) for a deeper, smokier flavor.

Simmer the garlic sauce gently after adding cream to prevent it from separating.

Always rest the chicken before slicing to keep it juicy and tender.
