- 4 crusty round bread rolls (sourdough or Italian recommended)
- 6 oz dry spaghetti
- 2 cups marinara or meat sauce
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (plus extra for garnish)
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Salt, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice tops off bread rolls and hollow out the centers, leaving a sturdy shell.
- In a bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley.
- Brush the inside of each bread bowl with garlic butter.
- Toast the bowls in the oven for 8–10 minutes until lightly crisp.
- Meanwhile, cook spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Drain well.
- Toss spaghetti with marinara sauce, 1/2 cup mozzarella, and Parmesan (if using).
- Fill each toasted bread bowl with the spaghetti mixture, pressing it in gently.
