Perfect as a quick breakfast, an easy dinner idea, or even a hearty snack. With minimal prep time and just a few ingredients, this easy recipe is a go-to favorite. Whether you're meal prepping or planning food ideas for a party, this one delivers every time.

Ingredients

Scale

8 ounces breakfast sausage, cooked and drained

4 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (8-count)

1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

1 pinch salt

1 pinch black pepper

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash, optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease and let it cool slightly.

3. In a bowl, combine the cooked sausage with softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar. Mix until smooth and creamy. Add garlic powder, salt, and pepper if desired.

4. Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles.

5. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of filling onto the wide end of each triangle.

6. Roll up the crescents, starting from the wide end and rolling toward the tip. Tuck in sides to help seal.

7. Place on the prepared baking sheet and brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish (optional).

8. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.

9. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Softened cream cheese makes mixing smoother and quicker.

Don't overfill the dough — 1 tablespoon is just right.

Reheat in the oven or air fryer to keep the crescents crispy.
