These Pioneer Woman Apple Dumplings are an easy and delicious dessert made with fresh apples, crescent roll dough, and a rich caramelized sauce. Perfectly baked until golden brown, they are best served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Ingredients
2 large Granny Smith apples
1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
1/2 cup unsalted butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup lemon-lime soda
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.

Peel, core, and slice apples into 8 wedges.

Wrap each apple wedge in crescent roll dough and place in the dish.

Melt butter and mix with brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla.

Pour mixture over dumplings.
