  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping (Cool Whip or homemade)
  • 1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple, well-drained
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks (for topping)
  • 1/2 cup maraschino cherries (for garnish)

Instructions

 

  1. Prepare the Crust

    • In a bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until well combined.
    • Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish to form the crust.
    • Refrigerate for 10–15 minutes to allow the crust to set.
  2. Make the Cream Cheese Layer

    • In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth.
    • Gently fold in half of the whipped topping to create a light and creamy texture.
    • Spread the mixture evenly over the chilled graham cracker crust.
  3. Add the Pineapple Layer

    • Evenly spread the well-drained crushed pineapple over the cream cheese layer.
  4. Top with Whipped Topping

    • Spread the remaining whipped topping evenly over the pineapple layer.
  5. Garnish and Chill

    • Sprinkle pineapple chunks over the top and add maraschino cherries for decoration.
    • Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (preferably overnight) before serving.
