Crispy, cheesy, and packed with flavor, these Parmesan Baked Potatoes are a simple yet delicious side dish perfect for any occasion. The potatoes are coated in butter and Parmesan cheese, then baked to golden perfection, creating a crispy crust with a soft, fluffy interior. Serve them as a side, snack, or appetizer, and watch them disappear!

Ingredients

Scale

  • 4 medium Yukon Gold or Russet potatoes
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with butter.
  2. Wash and dry the potatoes, then slice them in half lengthwise. Pat them dry to remove excess moisture.
  3. Mix the Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl. Spread this mixture evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Brush the cut sides of the potatoes with melted butter. Press the buttered side into the Parmesan mixture, ensuring an even coating.
  5. Arrange the potatoes cut side down on the baking sheet. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until fork-tender and crispy.
  6. Let cool for a few minutes, then carefully lift them from the baking sheet. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
