Perfect for parties, gift boxes, or a refreshing addition to your dessert rotation, these quick no-bake truffles are bursting with natural orange flavor and have a velvety texture you’ll love. Whether you’re searching for healthy snack ideas, easy recipe treats, or creative dessert ideas, this one checks all the boxes.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup white chocolate chips or finely chopped white chocolate

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

1/4 cup heavy cream

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon orange extract or 1 tablespoon fresh orange juice

1 teaspoon freshly grated orange zest

1 pinch salt

2 cups powdered sugar plus extra for coating

Optional: extra orange zest or finely shredded coconut for garnish

Instructions

1. Place white chocolate in a heatproof bowl. In a small saucepan, heat butter and cream over low-medium heat until hot but not boiling.

2. Pour hot cream over the chocolate and let sit for 1–2 minutes. Stir until smooth and fully melted.

3. Stir in vanilla extract, orange extract (or juice), orange zest, and salt. Mix well.

4. Gradually sift in powdered sugar, stirring until a thick, dough-like mixture forms.

5. Cover and chill the mixture for 1–2 hours in the fridge or 30–40 minutes in the freezer.

6. Scoop the firm mixture using a spoon or small scoop and roll into balls.

7. Roll each truffle in powdered sugar. Optionally, garnish with coconut or more zest.

8. Refrigerate for 15–30 minutes before serving to set. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

Always use fresh orange zest for the brightest, most natural citrus flavor.

Don’t skip chilling—it makes shaping the truffles much easier.

Roll in powdered sugar just before serving to keep the coating fresh and powdery.
