  • 1 lb (450g) potato gnocchi
  • 1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs, diced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 large lemon, zested and juiced
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Optional: Lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large deep skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat.
  2. Add diced chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 5–6 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Deglaze the pan with chicken broth, scraping up the browned bits.
  5. Add gnocchi and stir to coat. Cover and simmer for 5–7 minutes until tender.
  6. Reduce heat, then stir in heavy cream, lemon juice, lemon zest, and Parmesan.
  7. Return the chicken to the pan and simmer for 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens.
  8. Adjust seasoning, garnish with parsley and lemon slices, and serve warm.
