Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup finely chopped onion (optional)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 pound homemade or store-bought dough (pizza, biscuit, or dinner roll dough)
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onions if using. Cook until onions are soft. Drain excess fat and let the mixture cool slightly.
2. Divide the dough into equal portions (about 12 pieces). Flatten each into a 3-inch circle.
3. Spoon beef mixture into the center of each dough round, then top with a pinch of shredded cheddar.
4. Fold the dough around the filling and pinch edges to seal. Place seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
5. Melt butter and stir in minced garlic. Brush garlic butter generously over each dough ball.
6. Sprinkle each bomb with grated parmesan.
7. Bake in a preheated 375°F (190°C) oven for 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
8. Optional: Brush with remaining garlic butter and sprinkle parsley after baking.
9. Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
10. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days, or freeze for up to 2 months.
Notes
Let the beef mixture cool before filling to avoid making the dough soggy.
Don’t overfill the bombs—stick to about 1 tablespoon of meat per dough round.
For extra flavor, brush with garlic butter again right after baking.
