Ingredients

Scale

2 cups fresh mixed greens

1 medium Honeycrisp apple, thinly sliced

1/3 cup crumbled feta cheese

1/4 cup dried cranberries

1/4 cup walnuts, toasted if desired

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice (or apple cider vinegar)

Pinch of salt

Cracked black pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Wash and dry your fresh greens thoroughly.

2. Thinly slice the Honeycrisp apple and optionally toss slices in lemon juice to prevent browning.

3. Toast the walnuts in a dry skillet over medium heat for 2–3 minutes, then let them cool.

4. Arrange the greens in a salad bowl, creating an even base.

5. Layer the apple slices over the greens.

6. Sprinkle the walnuts, dried cranberries, and crumbled feta on top.

7. Drizzle olive oil and lemon juice (or vinegar) evenly across the salad.

8. Season with a pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper.

9. Toss gently to combine and serve immediately.

Notes

Keep dressing separate until ready to serve to maintain crispness.

Use chilled apples and greens for extra freshness and crunch.
