1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
½ cup beef or vegetable broth
4 cups mashed potatoes
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp rosemary
2 tbsp butter
¼ cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the ground meat in a skillet until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add onions, garlic, carrots, and peas, sautéing until tender.
- Stir in tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary.
- Pour in broth and let simmer for 10-15 minutes.
- Prepare mashed potatoes with butter, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the meat filling evenly in a baking dish.
- Top with mashed potatoes, spreading evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
