1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and instant yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.

2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the bowl. Mix until a rough dough forms.

3. Knead the dough for 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Cover and let rise for 45–60 minutes until doubled in size.

4. While the dough is rising, melt the butter and stir in garlic, oregano, and salt. Set aside.

5. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

6. Roll out the risen dough into a ¼-inch thick rectangle on a floured surface. Transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet.

7. Lightly score the dough into breadstick strips using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.
