Description

A visually stunning and delicious stack of ripe tomatoes, crisp cucumbers, and creamy feta cheese, drizzled with extra virgin olive oil and herbs. This Greek Feta Salad Tower makes a perfect appetizer or light meal, ideal for entertaining or adding a Mediterranean flair to your table.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 large ripe tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 large cucumber, sliced
  • 200g (about 7 oz) feta cheese, cubed
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional), for garnish
  • Salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Wash and dry tomatoes and cucumber. Slice tomatoes and cucumber into medium-thick rounds. Cube the feta cheese and pat dry.

  2. Create Base Layer: On a flat serving plate (with or without a ring mold), start with a layer of tomato slices.

  3. Layer: Add cucumber slices over the tomatoes, followed by a layer of feta cubes.

  4. Build the Tower: Repeat the layering (tomato, cucumber, feta) until reaching desired height, generally 3–4 layers.

  5. Season: Drizzle generously with olive oil. Sprinkle dried oregano and black pepper over the top.

  6. Garnish: Add fresh mint leaves for color and a refreshing note.

  7. Serve: Present immediately to preserve texture and visual appeal.
