Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving overhangs for easy lifting. Lightly grease the parchment.

2. In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar using an electric or stand mixer for 2–3 minutes until fluffy.

3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Mix in the vanilla extract.

4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.

5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
