Ingredients

Scale

9 oz cheese tortellini

½ lb ground beef

½ lb Italian sausage

3 tbsp unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

3 cups fresh spinach

1 tbsp olive oil

½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)

¼ tsp black pepper

¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

½ tsp Italian seasoning (optional)

Instructions

1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and Italian sausage, breaking them up with a spatula. Cook for 6–8 minutes until browned. Transfer to a bowl and set aside.

2. In the same skillet, add butter and melt over medium heat. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

3. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan and mozzarella until the sauce is smooth and creamy.

4. Add fresh spinach and stir until wilted, about 1–2 minutes.

5. Meanwhile, cook tortellini according to package instructions. Drain well.

6. Add the cooked tortellini and reserved meat to the sauce. Toss gently to combine.

7. Let everything simmer for 2–3 more minutes so flavors meld. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes to taste.

8. Serve hot, optionally topped with extra cheese or herbs.

Notes

Let the cheese melt completely into the sauce for the creamiest texture.

Use fresh tortellini for best flavor and bite, but frozen works with adjusted cook time.

Don’t overcook the spinach—just wilt it gently to keep its texture and color.
