Tender shrimp are sautéed in garlic butter, layered with lasagna noodles, ricotta cheese, and a luscious Parmesan cream sauce. - 12 lasagna noodles (regular or oven-ready)
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 ½ cups heavy cream
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven – Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Cook the Shrimp – Heat 2 tbsp butter and 1 tbsp olive oil in a pan. Sauté the garlic until fragrant, then add the shrimp. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, then stir in lemon juice and remove from heat.
- Make the Cream Sauce – In the same pan, melt 2 tbsp butter, then whisk in heavy cream and Parmesan. Simmer until thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
- Prepare the Ricotta Mixture – In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, parsley, and Parmesan until well combined.
- Assemble the Lasagna –
- Spread a thin layer of cream sauce at the bottom of the baking dish.
- Add a layer of lasagna noodles, followed by ricotta mixture, shrimp, mozzarella, and more sauce.
- Repeat layers, finishing with a generous topping of mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Bake – Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 10 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Let It Rest – Allow the lasagna to sit for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
