Ingredients

Scale

1 pound ground beef

1 small yellow onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough or pizza dough

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 clove garlic, minced (for butter)

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

1. In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.

2. Add chopped onion to the beef and cook until softened, about 3–4 minutes.

3. Stir in minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 more minute, then remove from heat and let cool slightly.

4. Roll out dough into a large rectangle on a floured surface. Pinch seams if using crescent roll dough.

5. Evenly spread the beef mixture over the dough, leaving a small border.

6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of the beef.

7. Roll the dough tightly from the long side into a log, then slice into 10–12 equal rollups.

8. Arrange rollups on a greased baking dish or parchment-lined sheet, spiral side up.

9. Melt butter and stir in minced garlic. Brush garlic butter on top of each rollup.

10. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 18–22 minutes, until golden and bubbly.

11. Brush again with garlic butter after baking and garnish with parsley if desired.

12. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use cold dough and let the beef cool slightly for easier rolling.

Chill the rolled log in the fridge for cleaner slicing.

For extra richness, sprinkle more cheese on top before baking.
