1 loaf French or Italian bread

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)

2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)


Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

4. Spread the garlic butter mixture generously over each cut side or slice. Drizzle with olive oil if desired.

6. Bake for 10–12 minutes until golden and edges are crisp. Broil for 1–2 minutes if desired.

7. Let rest 1–2 minutes, then slice and serve warm.
