1 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/3 cup cocoa powder

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate

1 1/2 cups heavy cream

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup heavy whipping cream

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup chocolate shavings


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a square pan with parchment paper.

2. Melt butter and mix with sugar until smooth.

3. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.

4. Mix in cocoa powder, flour, and salt until just combined.

5. Pour batter into pan and bake for 20–25 minutes. Cool completely.

6. Melt semi-sweet chocolate and let it cool slightly.

7. Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.

8. Fold melted chocolate into whipped cream and add vanilla extract.

9. Spread the silk layer over cooled brownies.

10. Chill for 2–3 hours until set.

11. Whip remaining cream with powdered sugar and vanilla.

12. Spread whipped topping over the silk layer and garnish with chocolate shavings.
