  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple (with juice)
  • 4 large eggs
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks

Instructions

 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Mix cake mix, pineapple (with juice), eggs, and oil until smooth. Bake for 30–35 minutes. Cool completely.
  3. Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Spread frosting over the cooled cake.
  4. Top with pineapple chunks and chopped pecans. Chill for 1 hour before serving.
