Description

Start your holidays with a sweet and creamy twist — these Eggnog Tiramisu Cups are an elegant, no-bake dessert that brings festive flavor to your table with minimal effort. Perfect for quick breakfast indulgences, easy dinner finales, or a cozy healthy snack alternative, this easy recipe blends rich mascarpone, spiced eggnog, and bold espresso-soaked ladyfingers into beautiful single-serve portions. Whether you’re hunting for holiday breakfast ideas, impressive dinner ideas, or just need food ideas that wow, this dessert will not disappoint.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup strong brewed espresso, cooled

1 tablespoon dark rum or brandy (optional)

1 cup heavy cream

8 ounces mascarpone cheese

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup eggnog

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

18 to 20 ladyfingers (Savoiardi)

1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder, for dusting

Instructions

1. Brew the espresso and stir in the rum or brandy if using. Let cool completely and pour into a shallow bowl.

2. Whip the heavy cream in a bowl until soft peaks form. Chill while preparing the rest.

3. In another bowl, combine mascarpone, sugar, eggnog, vanilla extract, and nutmeg. Beat until smooth and creamy.

4. Fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture gently until well combined and airy.

5. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the cooled espresso mixture — one second per side.

6. Layer dipped ladyfingers into the base of individual serving glasses.

7. Spoon or pipe a layer of the mascarpone mixture on top of the ladyfingers.

8. Repeat the layers with more dipped ladyfingers and more mascarpone cream.

9. Finish with a swirl of cream on top and dust with cocoa powder and extra nutmeg.

10. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.

Notes

Chill the tiramisu overnight for the best flavor and a firm texture.

Use a piping bag to create clean, even cream layers in each glass.

If substituting mascarpone, use full-fat cream cheese for better consistency.
