Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 1 pre-made pie crust (or homemade if preferred)

For the Filling:

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk (or half-and-half for a richer texture)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or a mix)
  • ½ cup diced ham (or cooked bacon/sausage)
  • ½ cup green peas (or your favorite veggies like spinach, mushrooms, or bell peppers)
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder (optional, for extra flavor)
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika (for a hint of warmth)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat & Prepare the Crust
    • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
    • Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and crimp the edges.
    • For a crispier crust, blind-bake it by lining with parchment paper, adding pie weights, and baking for 10 minutes. Remove the weights and set aside.
  2. Prepare the Filling
    • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until fully combined.
  3. Assemble the Quiche
    • Spread the diced ham, green peas, and shredded cheese evenly over the pre-baked pie crust.
    • Pour the egg mixture over the filling, ensuring it spreads evenly.
  4. Bake the Quiche
    • Place the pie dish on a baking sheet and bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the center is set and slightly golden.
    • A toothpick inserted in the middle should come out clean.
  5. Cool & Serve
    • Remove the quiche from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
    • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
