Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1/2 lb ground turkey

1/2 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 egg

1/2 cup marinara sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried basil

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup fresh chopped parsley (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking dish.
  2. Mix all ingredients except mozzarella and additional marinara.
  3. Shape into a loaf and bake for 35-40 minutes.
  4. Add extra marinara and mozzarella, then bake for another 10 minutes.
