Perfect for game day snacks, easy dinner nights, or summer BBQs, this easy recipe delivers restaurant-worthy flavor with minimal fuss. Ideal for those looking for quick dinner ideas, party appetizers, or unique food ideas with a sweet-savory kick.

Ingredients

Scale

2 lbs chicken wings, separated into drumettes and flats

1 cup fresh pineapple chunks (or canned, drained well)

1/2 cup pineapple juice (from fresh or canned)

1/3 cup barbecue sauce (smoky or sweet style)

3 tbsp honey

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp brown sugar

1 tbsp rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp ground ginger

1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped

1 tbsp olive oil

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat chicken wings completely dry, season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and olive oil. Toss well.

2. Arrange wings on a wire rack over a baking sheet. Bake 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.

3. In a small saucepan, combine pineapple juice, barbecue sauce, honey, soy sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, and ground ginger. Simmer 8–10 minutes until thick and glossy.

4. Transfer wings to a bowl, pour half the glaze over them, and toss to coat.

5. Place wings back on the rack, brush with remaining glaze, and bake 5 more minutes. Garnish with pineapple chunks and parsley before serving.

Notes

Use fresh pineapple for a brighter flavor, but canned works for convenience.

Broil wings for 2–3 minutes after glazing for extra crispiness.

Keep the glaze at a gentle simmer to avoid burning the sugars.
