2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
1/2 cup whole milk
1/4 cup water

1 large egg
1/3 cup unsalted butter
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup powdered sugar
2–3 tablespoons milk or cream
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Combine warm milk, water, and sugar in a bowl. Sprinkle yeast on top and let it sit until foamy (5–10 minutes).
2. In a mixing bowl, add flour and salt. Pour in the yeast mixture, melted butter, and egg. Mix and knead into a soft dough for 5–7 minutes.
3. Let the dough rise in a greased bowl, covered, for 60–90 minutes or until doubled in size.
4. Prepare filling by mixing softened butter, cinnamon, and brown sugar into a paste.
5. Roll out the dough into a 14×9-inch rectangle. Spread filling evenly.
6. Roll the dough tightly from the long side and cut into 12 rolls using dental floss or a sharp knife.
