Ingredients

Scale

6 large eggs

1 ripe avocado

2 tablespoons mayonnaise

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon lemon juice

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Paprika, for garnish

6 cherry or yellow mini tomatoes, halved

6 red bell pepper or carrot star-shaped cutouts

Instructions

1. Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil, then turn off heat and cover. Let sit for 10–12 minutes, then transfer to an ice bath to cool. Peel the eggs carefully.

2. Slice the eggs in half lengthwise. Gently scoop out the yolks and place in a mixing bowl. Set whites on a serving tray.

3. Mash yolks until fine. Add avocado, mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.

4. Transfer filling into a piping bag fitted with a star tip. Pipe the mixture onto each egg white in a tall, swirled Christmas tree shape.

5. Sprinkle with paprika. Top each tree with a halved cherry tomato or yellow tomato and place a red bell pepper or carrot star on top.

6. Chill before serving.

Notes

For best presentation, pipe the filling while slightly chilled so it holds its shape.

Use lemon juice to keep the avocado green and fresh longer.

Add herbs like dill or chives for a fun flavor twist.
