  • Total Time: 32 minutes
  • Yield: Approximately 20 rangoons 1x

Description

These Crispy Baked Crab Rangoons feature creamy, flavorful crab filling wrapped in crisp golden wonton wrappers. Baked instead of fried, they’re lighter but still deliver that satisfying crunch. Perfect for parties, appetizers, or a fun homemade snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 20 square wonton wrappers
  • 4 oz (115 g) fresh lump crab meat (or imitation crab)
  • 4 oz (115 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • Cooking spray or oil (for brushing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, garlic powder, soy sauce, salt, and pepper until smooth.

  3. Place a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Add about 1 teaspoon of filling to the center.

  4. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water and fold into a triangle or bring corners together to form a pouch. Press edges to seal well.

  5. Arrange filled rangoons on the prepared baking sheet.

  6. Lightly brush or spray with oil.

  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden and crisp.

  8. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
